Another Visit by Saint Nicholas

A little boy was playing on a cold December day,
The drifting snow swirled 'round him as he went along his way,
When all at once a mighty noise he heard from far away;
He saw some tiny reindeer, as they pulled a tiny sleigh.
“Ho Ho Ho!  Ho Ho Ho!” Ghost Reindeer in the Sky.

Their antlers flashed like fire and their hooves were made of steel,
Their harnesses, they jingled and their hot breath he could feel,
A bolt of fear shot through him as they thundered through the sky,
For he knew that he'd been naughty, and he heard old Santa's cry:
“Ho Ho Ho!  Ho Ho Ho!” Ghost Reindeer in the Sky.

His eyes, like stars, they sparkled, and his dimples were so merry,
His cheeks, they were like roses, and his nose was like a cherry,
He screamed and whipped those reindeer in a headlong, frenzied flight,
For he had to visit every child around the world that night!
“Ho Ho Ho!  Ho Ho Ho!” Ghost Reindeer in the Sky.

As the reindeer flew on by him, he heard Santa call his name,
“If you want to get some presents, then your temper you must tame.
“Yes you must change your ways, or it's just anthracite you'll find,
“No balls, no bats, no trucks, no toys – just coal I'll leave behind.
“Ho Ho Ho!  Ho Ho Ho!” Ghost Reindeer in the Sky.
Ghost Reindeer in the Sky.
